Acquera Yachting was founded in Venice and has grown into a sought after yacht service agency in the Mediterranean. It is part of the ACQ Group, which was founded by Stefano Tositti as the CEO and founder. Today, its network spans more than 400 ports, with over a hundred professionals managing berthing, clearances, provisioning, and tailored on-shore arrangements. This operational depth set the stage for Acquera Club, launched in 2023 to expand the company’s role from agency support to complete lifestyle management.
During a conversation with Managing Director, Peter Anderson, it became clear that the Club’s success is measured not in the rarity of access, but the intimacy of understanding. Anderson approaches service as a quiet art form, where knowledge of the individual is more valuable than any booking, guest list, or private door.
Interview with Peter Anderson, Managing Director, Acquera Club
How do you measure the actual value creation of Acquera Club for members beyond the typical access narrative?
Access can be bought or created, but truly understanding our clients takes time and a lot of dedication. By developing this deep understanding of what is relevant to them and their loved ones, we can give them the most valuable commodity… time. We ensure that the time they spend whether on a business trip or a family vacation is very special and they enjoy every moment.
For Anderson, the misconception lies in believing that exclusivity equals value. For Acquera, value begins when the client is so well understood that every detail feels effortless. The result is time they no longer need to spend arranging, filtering, choosing, or compromising. It’s the silent luxury many with busy lives never truly experience.
In designing Acquera Club, what service or feature did you intentionally not include because it would dilute the clarity of the Club’s purpose?
We have decided to only offer a very few curated in person events to our members as we feel that they are so busy for much of their lives, it would be a false economy to try and encourage them to attend events that didn’t already fit with their busy schedule.
Instead of a constant calendar of gatherings, Acquera Club embraces restraint. Experiences are not scheduled for the sake of presence, and the platform avoids event fatigue. If a moment truly matters, it is woven naturally into a member’s lifestyle rather than becoming another obligation.
How do you ensure that Acquera Club experiences remain truly scarce and not something that any high-end concierge could replicate with enough budget?
We spend our lives looking for interesting and special experiences that fit with our clients’ preferences. Our team includes dedicated managers who take care of their needs, ensuring a personalized and seamless experience, and who are constantly travelling to investigate new and exciting local experiences that go far beyond what a traditional hotel concierge or AI would suggest.
The team behind Acquera Club is constantly in motion. Not compiling lists, but travelling, meeting, tasting, and discovering sources of joy that never appear on public itineraries. Scarcity comes from the human layers behind each experience. There is no template, no algorithm, and no universal checklist. Every chapter of a member’s life travels with them, and the Club learns with every journey.
As the Mediterranean yachting season continues to evolve, Acquera sits at the intersection of heritage and personal luxury. Acquera Yachting remains deeply rooted in its yachting operational excellence, yet looks inward, toward the lived moments that shape a family vacation or the gentle hours between meetings on foreign shores.
