Azimut Yachts has been shaping the world of luxury boating since 1969, when Paolo Vitelli founded the company. Over the decades, the yard has become a reference point for combining Italian design with advanced technology. The Grande 36M continues this tradition, showing how Azimut builds yachts that are as practical for life on the water as hey are elegant to look at.

At 35.29 meters in length with a beam of 7.5 meters, the Grande 36M balances presence with practicality. A draft of just under two meters allows her to slip into bays and harbors that deeper vessels cannot reach, opening up a wider range of cruising grounds. With a displacement of about 180 tonnes, she has the weight and stability expected in a yacht of this size without compromising efficiency.
The exterior lines, drawn by Alberto Mancini, are sleek and sculptural. The interiors, created by m2atelier, focus on light, texture, and balance rather than showmanship. Large windows surround the salon and bring the sea into the living space, while soft, natural tones create a sense of calm. Seating is arranged to feel inviting and comfortable, with warm fabrics and tactile finishes that give the space the warmth of a contemporary home. Curved transitions replace sharp corners, and subtle wall treatments shift tone as the light changes through the day.

The guest spaces carry the same philosophy. The five cabins accommodate ten guests, including a full-beam owner’s suite that opens up to views just above the waterline. VIP and guest cabins echo the understated design, with upholstered textures, careful lighting, and a focus on privacy. Six crew are housed in four additional cabins, which keeps service discreet and efficient.

Life outside is equally well thought out. The bow lounge has generous sunpads and seating that make it ideal for unhurried afternoons. The flybridge and upper deck dining areas
connect easily with the interiors, so time can move seamlessly between open-air meals, quiet drinks at sunset, or conversations late into the night. Each space feels easy to settle into, whether in a group or in private moments.

Attention to detail extends to comfort while underway. The Grande 36M benefits from advanced air handling systems, strong sound insulation, and vibration reduction technology. These choices may not be immediately visible, but they define how the yacht feels on a day-to-day basis, keeping every journey calm and pleasant whether at sea or at anchor.
The Grande 36M is a clear reflection of Azimut’s long history. It avoids unnecessary excess, instead delivering a yacht that combines function with comfort and elegance with restraint. More than fifty years after the company’s founding, Azimut continues to design yachts that are admired for their beauty and, more importantly, appreciated for how naturally they fit into life at sea.
