Chronomètre FB RES Jubilee Edition: An Ode to Haute-Horology

Chronométrie Ferdinand Berthoud and Sincere Fine Watches pay tribute to an important milestone by unveiling the Chronomètre FB RES Jubilee Edition. Only three pieces will be produced, with this exclusive watch marking Sincere’s seventieth anniversary, showcasing the pinnacle of haute horology and artistic collaboration.

Crafting Excellence in Platinum and Salmon

Ferdinand Berthoud

This special edition comes in an octagonal case made of platinum, with a satin-brushed salmon dial, conveying subtle elegance. Each watch is individually numbered and has a unique engraving of the Sincere logo—a symbol of infinity—at the nine o’clock position on the case. This detail is a nod to Sincere’s legacy in fine watchmaking, especially as a respected retailer across Asia.

Mechanical Mastery

Ferdinand Berthoud

At its core, the Jubilee Edition contains the iconic FB RES movement, characterized by its revolutionary double regulation system. The combination of a fusee-and-chain mechanism with a one-second remontoir d’égalité allows for unparalleled chronometric accuracy. The fusee-and-chain mechanism guarantees constant force from the barrel, and the remontoir d’égalité eliminates gear train irregularities, allowing for an enthralling deadbeat seconds display marked by a central hand.

Artistry in Detail

Ferdinand Berthoud

The movement’s skeletonized dial, bridges, and mainplate all exhibit exquisite attention to detail, as hand-beveled and polished angles stretch out to an astonishing two meters in total. Over 250 hours of laborious work were required to finish this beauty, testifying to the devotion to perfection.

A Tribute to Partnership

“Sincere is one of our long-term partners, having supported us since our inaugural collections in 2015,” said Karl-Friedrich Scheufele, President of Chronométrie Ferdinand Berthoud. “This Jubilee Edition reflects the depth of our collaboration.”  This special watch is the embodiment of tradition and innovation and an extraordinary horological keepsake for collectors.
