With her remarkable journey capturing widespread attention, Duchess Nivin shares exclusive insights into her personal experiences, the motivations behind her charitable endeavors, and her vision for the future.
Your Grace, you have achieved so much in your illustrious career. May I ask what inspired your passion for philanthropy, and how you chose the causes you support?
My journey into philanthropy was deeply influenced by my dedication to humanity and the recognition of my services, which led to the prestigious title of Duchess of Lamberton in the area I have mostly served. As a Shaikha princess in the UAE as the mother of HH Sheikh Saeed Al-Maktoum and my Nobel blood from my own Family from Egypt, I have always felt a profound responsibility to give back. As a Global Commonwealth Ambassador, I promote values such as democracy, human rights, and sustainable development. This role has further inspired my commitment to causes like interfaith understanding and healthcare. For me, charitable work is a form of worship, fulfilling God’s purpose for us to help others. This belief drives my involvement in various charities that promote interfaith dialogue and health.
Your philanthropic work has touched countless lives. Could you share a particularly memorable or heartwarming moment that has profoundly impacted you?
One particularly memorable moment was when I saw the direct impact of our interfaith health initiatives. We organised a health fair in an underserved community, bringing together diverse religious leaders and healthcare professionals. Watching people receive the care they desperately needed and seeing the smiles on their faces reaffirmed my belief in the power of unity and compassion and my personal journey in motherhood and been able to diagnose his symptoms and help him recovery which led me to start the charity under my son name for helping children suffering with the same sickness in immune system MBL. It was a profound reminder that our efforts truly make a difference in the lives of those we serve and that led me to write my own book mother’s first aid.
Every significant endeavor comes with its challenges. As a beacon of inspiration to many, what has been one of the most formidable obstacles you have faced in your philanthropic efforts, and how did you overcome it?
One of the most formidable obstacles I’ve faced was navigating the complexities of collaboration among diverse cultural and religious groups. It required patience, understanding, and a steadfast commitment to our shared goals. I overcame this by focusing on the end goal rather than the journey, ignoring negativity from others to keep maintaining a clear vision of my mission, and trusting in God’s guidance. My unwavering faith and proactive approach to managing challenges have been crucial in overcoming obstacles and achieving success.

Collaboration is often key to achieving a greater impact. Could you tell us about a successful partnership or project that you are particularly proud of and how it has made a difference?
Collaboration is often key to achieving a greater impact. A project I am particularly proud of is our work with the HealthFaith Alliance, which partners religious institutions with healthcare providers. This collaboration has significantly improved healthcare access and outcomes in underserved communities. By offering resources, training, and support to religious leaders, we promote healthy lifestyles, disease prevention, and access to healthcare services. This partnership has made a substantial difference in bridging health disparities and promoting wellness across various communities.
What advice would you offer to aspiring philanthropists who aspire to make a meaningful impact on society, following in your esteemed footsteps?

Balancing Responsibilities. Being organized is my cornerstone. I diligently complete all tasks and responsibilities without delay, ensuring nothing is left unfinished. Global Perspectives. Traveling and interacting with diverse cultures have broadened my perspective on global issues and collaboration. This exposure fosters empathy, understanding, and appreciation for cultural diversity, which are essential for effective collaboration. Understanding the interconnectedness of global challenges inspires collective action to address these issues.
What future projects or initiatives are you most excited about on your philanthropic horizon, Your Grace?
