Setting new benchmarks in the realm of sports cars, the all-new Aston Martin Valkyrie redefines the way enthusiasts perceive a sports car. Elegantly amalgamating F1 technology into road-ready design, this opulent beast boasts a well-balanced light-weight body with stunning aerodynamics.
Crafted in innovation down to its very core, Aston Martin has given utmost importance to the vehicle’s aerodynamics with its iconic innovative badge being a major standout. Chemically-etched and crafted in aluminium, the badge spans a maximum thickness of just 40-microns and weighs 99.4% lighter in contrast to the heavy and aerodynamically-disruptive traditional enamelled badges. Dubbed the “lacewing”, it effortlessly blends in with the paint, adding grandeur to the legacy of Aston Martin’s top-notch engineering.

The opulent Valkyrie also comes with the world’s smallest brake light. Just enough to meet the legal size requirements, this engineering marvel boasts robust LEDs and featherlight periscope optics, comfortably directing the light rearward. The same technology is also employed in the indicators, facilitating seamless navigation through its aerodynamic contours. This Aston Martin-exclusive technology signifies how size does not define superior performance.
Valkyrie’s pristine innovation doesn’t end here. Another major standout of this beast is the solid 594g wiper blade, capable of putting out a scintillating performance under impossible conditions. The need for a wiper came into discussion only for the sake of stationary movements, considering the car to be aerodynamically capable of repelling water that falls on its windscreen. The unrivalled capability of the wiper, which took birth in a collaboration with NASA suppliers was reassured when the former was tested at Austria’s Rail Tec Arsenal wind tunnel under extreme conditions.

The Valkyrie also possesses unparalleled capabilities derived from F1, thanks to its ever-superior hydraulic system borrowed from the Apache gunship technology. The Valkyrie’s sturdy handling and robust performance are further enriched by the infamous Active Control Unit which constantly recalibrates the aerodynamics and suspension of the vehicle, ensuring the aforementioned traits of the vehicle.
The heart of the vehicle is powered by 6.5-litre V12 engine churning out an astronomical 1130bhp at 11,100 rpm. Developed in collaboration with Cosworth, the engine comes with KERS assistance. Despite weighing only a minute 202kg, this engine is known to be the most powerful among any naturally-aspirated road-legal car. This packs both power and efficiency into the same engine, which reasssures the unique design of the engine which begins from a scaled-down straight three.

Leaving no stones unturned in the overall driving pleasure, the Valkyrie boasts a phenomenal lateral g-force of 3.3g along with an exquisite braking force of 1.9g, facilitating a 6-point harness. This sets the vehicle a class apart in the league of every over road-car out there by ensuring superior grip, paving way for an intensely unforgettable ride.
The Valkyrie’s insanely aerodynamic exterior, donned entirely in carbon fiber strikes the right balance between pristine luxury and scintillating track capabilities by maximizing performance and downforce. Thanks to its partnership with Red Bull Racing Advanced Technology, Aston Martin continues to push the limits of automotive innovation by making the impossible, possible.
